What we collect, and why.

Last updated September 7, 2026

Cufflinks works by reading the same signals you do. This page says exactly which ones, where they go, and how to take them back.

1. Who we are

Cufflinks is made by DevFarm, Inc. ("we", "us"). It is the operator of getcufflinks.com and of the Cufflinks apps for iPad and Mac. This policy explains what we collect when you use them, why, and what you can ask us to do about it.

Questions about anything here go to support@getcufflinks.com.

2. What we collect

Your account. When you create an account we hold your email address, your name and, if you add one, a profile photo. Accounts are managed by an identity provider that stores your credentials on our behalf. If you sign in with Apple, Apple gives us your name and either your email address or a private relay address that forwards to it.

What you put in. Your objectives, key results, priorities, action items, schedule, notes and your conversations with the Consigliere are stored so the product can show them back to you and reason over them.

Connected sources. Cufflinks only reads a source you connect yourself, such as Google Calendar, GitHub or Linear. What it reads from each one is what that provider's permission screen describes when you connect it, and you can disconnect a source at any time, which removes its access.

Billing. We use a third-party payment processor. We keep your subscription status, your plan and billing period, and the AI usage meter for your account.

Usage and device data. We collect how the product is used, together with technical data such as your IP address, device and browser type, and we use a product-analytics service to process it. This data is used only for security and to improve the application and its user experience.

3. How we use it

To run the product: to show your work back to you, keep your connected sources in sync, meter your AI usage against your plan and bill you as the pricing page describes.

To generate briefings, analyses and the Consigliere's answers. To do that, the relevant parts of your content are sent to third-party AI model and voice providers through their business API services.

We do not use your content to train AI models.

To keep the service secure: to detect abuse, fraud and unauthorized access, and to investigate incidents.

To tell you about your account: receipts, failed payments, changes to the service or to this policy.

We do not sell your data and we do not use it for advertising.

4. Who we share it with

DevFarm, Inc., its successors and assigns, and the service providers that process data on our behalf, each for the job named above:

  • An identity provider, for accounts and sign-in
  • A payment processor, for payments and subscriptions
  • AI model and voice providers, for briefings, analyses and the Consigliere
  • A product-analytics service
  • The cloud provider that runs the service and its database

We may also disclose data where the law requires it, or to protect the rights and safety of our users or of Cufflinks.

5. How long we keep it

For as long as your account exists. Disconnecting a source removes its access.

When you delete your account it enters a 90-day holding period, during which you can ask us for a copy of your data or to restore the account, after which it will be marked for permanent deletion. Billing records are kept for as long as tax and accounting rules require.

6. Your choices and rights

You can see and change your account details in the app, disconnect any source at any time, and cancel your subscription from your account page. To have your account and its data deleted, or to ask for a copy of what we hold, email support@getcufflinks.com from the address on the account. Depending on where you live, you may have further rights under laws such as the GDPR or the CCPA; we honour those requests through the same address.

7. Children

Cufflinks is a tool for executive work and is not directed at anyone under 16. We do not knowingly collect data from them; if you believe we have, tell us and we will delete it.

8. Changes to this policy

When this policy changes we update the date at the top of this page. If a change affects how your data is used in a way that matters, we tell you by email before it takes effect.
